ageLOC® Galvanic Spa® Facial Gels (AU)

The ageLOC Galvanic Spa Facial Gels are a two-step treatment system designed to work with Nu Skin's galvanic current technology. The Pre-Treatment Gel carries positively charged ageLOC purifying ingredients that the galvanic device pushes into the skin during the first phase, while the Treatment Gel delivers negatively charged nourishing and anti-ageing ingredients during the second phase. Together, they form the consumable component of the Galvanic Spa system — each pack provides approximately 8–10 full facial treatments.

How the Two-Step System Works

The gels exploit a basic electrochemistry principle: like charges repel. In phase one, the device is set to positive polarity, driving the positively charged purifying ingredients in the Pre-Treatment Gel past the skin barrier. In phase two, the polarity reverses to negative, pushing the negatively charged nourishing ingredients from the Treatment Gel into the skin. This two-phase approach means the skin receives both a deep-cleansing and a nourishing treatment in one 20-minute session. The ageLOC blend in both gels targets what Nu Skin's gene expression research identifies as ageing-related supermarkers — the sources of visible ageing at a cellular level.

How to Use

Apply the Pre-Treatment Gel evenly across the face and treat with the Galvanic Spa on positive setting for approximately 10 minutes. Remove residual gel with a damp cloth. Apply the Treatment Gel and treat on negative setting for another 10 minutes. Follow with your regular moisturiser. Nu Skin recommends 2–3 sessions per week initially, reducing to 1–2 per week for maintenance. The gels can also be applied manually without the device as a leave-on treatment, though ingredient penetration will be significantly lower — Nu Skin's clinical data shows up to 70% improved delivery with galvanic assistance versus topical application alone.
