The ageLOC LumiSpa Activating Face Cleanser is the treatment cleanser designed for the LumiSpa iO device. It's not a generic cleanser — it's formulated to work with the counter-rotating motion of the LumiSpa head, combining a cleansing action with Nu Skin's proprietary ageLOC anti-ageing ingredients. Available in five variants: normal/combination, oily, dry, sensitive, and blemish-prone. Each targets a different skin concern while delivering the same ageLOC base formula.
The Variants
Normal/combination is the all-rounder — suitable if your skin doesn't lean strongly oily or dry. The oily variant includes ingredients that help manage excess sebum without over-stripping (important, because aggressive cleansing can trigger more oil production). Dry skin gets a richer, more hydrating formula. Sensitive is fragrance-free and designed for reactive skin. The blemish-prone variant contains salicylic acid to address congestion and breakouts alongside the ageLOC ingredients. If you're not sure, normal/combination works for most people.
How to Use
Wet your face. Apply a small amount of cleanser — roughly the size of a 10p coin — directly onto the LumiSpa iO silicone head. Switch the device on and move it across your face in gentle circular motions for 2 minutes (the auto-timer handles timing). Rinse thoroughly. Use morning and evening. In hard water areas, you may notice the cleanser lathers less — that's the mineral content interfering, not insufficient product. One tube lasts approximately 6–8 weeks with twice-daily use.
